Transcend’s Global Revenue reached US$71.8 millions in February – a Growth Rate of Almost 100% Compared to February 2006

| Transcend Information is proud to announce that its global sales reached US$71.8 millions in February 2007. This is a growth rate of 96.6% from US$36.52 millions during the same period in 2006. Due to the reduced number of working days caused by the long Chinese Lunar Year holiday and the weak memory pricing, however, the sales revenue in February 2007 dropped 17.6% compared to January of the same year. Nevertheless, the average daily shipment in February increased over 20% compared to January. |
| In March, Transcend forecasts a rebound in the NAND flash and DRAM markets as the pricing already reached bottom. Being stimulated by Windows Vista, the demand for DRAM from channel customers is presently emerging. Besides, the memory market anticipates demand for NAND flash to grow strong during March. Consequently, Transcend will get back to its average sales performance in March, and the sales revenue for this month is projected to break the highest record in the company’s history. |
