2008/06/30
Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend), an international leader in flash memory products, recently announced its successful line of T.photo digital photo frame – the T.photo™ 720. Featuring a refreshingly modern design with a crisp new high-resolution (800x480) 7-inch widescreen TFT panel and 2GB of internal memory, the T.photo 720 is the perfect place to showcase all your favorite photos in astonishing clarity and detail. Its compact dimensions and clean, simple styling also make it an attractive addition to the desk or wall of your living room, bedroom or office, no matter what the decor.

Advanced New Display Features
The T.photo 720 supports the most popular digital camera JPG and BMP formats, and users can choose to view photos one at a time, in slideshow view, or in a convenient tiled thumbnail view. The T.photo's unique MyShow function allows selecting multiple photos to create your own custom slideshows. Another advanced new feature of the T.photo 720 is its AOS (Automatic Orientation Sensor), which detects when the T.photo is rotated horizontally or vertically, and automatically adjusts image placement on the screen for optimal viewing. To further enhance display performance, The T.photo 720 is equipped with advanced new NaturaTone intelligent skin color processing that analyzes the makeup of each image and enhances colors for a more natural, lifelike appearance.

More Than an Average Picture Frame
Designed from the ground up as a true multimedia device that does more than simply display photos, the T.photo 720 is fully equipped to play back movies and videos, with support for AVI, MOV, MPG, MP4, 3GP and Motion JPEG video formats. Users can select video files to view from a convenient thumbnail preview interface and set multiple repeat modes for seamless video playback – no external media players required. Besides playing movies and video clips, the T.photo also functions as a full-featured MP3 player and an FM radio with up to 20 station presets, which allows users listen to their favorite MP3 songs or radio stations while viewing photos at the same time. Audio quality through the T.photo's high output, front-firing internal speakers is full and defined, and a standard 3.5mm jack is provided for connecting external headphones.

The T.photo 720 is also equipped with a special new MobileCard slot for direct input of microSD and M2 cards, which makes it easier than ever to view cell phone pictures or video clips. Transcend's T.photo 720 digital photo frame is now available in either black or white versions, both with two full gigabytes of internal flash memory.
